Title of the project: Produce a short film about a NGO's projects
Description of the Project: work with the team to write, direct and produce a short documentary film on this organization's work with disadvantaged and marginalized communities. Interview beneficiary and recipients of the different homes and drop-in centres. Edit and produce a film, which can be used for fundraising and telling the story of this organization and the work they do to many different audiences.
Mission Statement: To provide residential treatment services and to facilitate recovery and reintegration into the society for marginalized communities, including PLHA, substance abusers, homeless children and women.
Location of the Project: New Delhi
Duration: 1 Week to One Year Volunteering options
Starting date: ongoing
Languages: Hindi (preferred but not required) and English
Experienced required: sufficient experience in film-making, documentary screening and editing. Ability to work independently. Volunteers must provide their own equipment.
Attribute/Quality Required: Strong moral character, excellent communication skills and the ability to empathize with the clients.
Age Range: Between 25 - 40 years
