Volunteer in India for an Agri Processing Facility for farmers
Project Highlights: Volunteers will be required to assist in establishing a processing facility for the betterment of poor farmers. This work will involve planning, monitoring and establishing a processing facility where the farm output can be processed to meet better business challenges. If you are serious about bringing positive change to the lives of the farmers and dedicating your time to be a part of the change come forward and get involved.
Experience required (If any): Three years of work experience at the management level.
Qualification: Bachelors minimum
Attributes/Qualities Required: Very strong entrepreneur skills, data collection and analysis skills and a strong commitment to rural development.
Period of Volunteering opportunity: ( In Year, Month , Week or Days): Minimum one month
Age Range: 25-65
Accommodation if Available and details: Basic accommodation in village guesthouse with own room with clean bathroom
Meals if available and details: Eating with host families and at hotels
Transportation if available and details: Motorbike can be provided
Typical work/s for volunteer: Data collection and analysis, training of farmers, scouting for investment opportunities and brainstorming with stakeholders on viability.
